Greetings! We are Iris and Robert. Gastronomy venture is a huge part of our lives. Many years ago, Robert had high blood pressure health issues. Instead of taking drugs for high blood pressure that ended making him feel terrible and unfit, he decided to cut out salt in his diet. He wanted to see if cutting his salt intake would help to lower his blood pressure.
To show love and support as a family, we decided to adopt to the low sodium and no salt added diet as well. It did take a while to navigate and find our ways. Six years forward, we find the journey of our low sodium and no salt diet incredibly rewarding.
Low sodium and no salt added cooking can be just as flavorful and delicious as cooking with salt. We are thrilled to be able to share our findings and recipes here with you!
Not only we discover new ways to make our cooking tasty, fun, and exciting, we also ventured out making things which we would otherwise not have attempted, such as making sausage and ravioli. Most importantly, we are drug free!
