No-Bake Moist Chocolate Cake


Here is a simple way to make a healthy, delicious, and moist no-bake chocolate cake without ingredients a traditional chocolate cake recipe usually calls for.

Once in a while, I get craving for something refine and sweet. This time, I was craving for something chocolate and caky, however, I didn’t feel like baking and wanted to use ingredients that are “healthier” so I came up with this no-bake moist chocolate cake recipe.

This chocolate cake is made from banana, pineapple, dates, unsweetened cocoa powder and coconut flour. I had Robert tried it before revealing to him the ingredients. Robert eats  flamé banana only. He dislikes eating banana any other way even though the potassium is helpful to keep his blood pressure low. I was thrilled to know he actually really liked the flavor and the texture!

Shopping List

1 ripe large banana
Dates, pitted
Coconut flour
Cocoa powder
Fresh pineapple, about 1/2” thick, peeled and cored.
Almond oil

Food processor, here is what I used for this recipe.
A spatula
A small cast iron pan

No-Bake Vegan Chocolate Cake

Print Recipe
Serves: 2 Cooking Time: Prep time, 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe large banana
  • 2 dates, pitted
  • 5 tsp of coconut flour
  • 2 tsp of cocoa powder
  • 1 slice of fresh pineapple, about 1/2” thick, peeled and cored.
  • 2 tsp Almond oil

Instructions

Simple mix all the ingredients in a food processor until well combined.

Transfer mixture to a cast iron pan oiled with almond oil.

Pan fried in low heat for about 10-15 minutes on each side.

Let it cool and serve.

Garnish with lemon zests.

It taste and slice better if you keep it in the fridge over night.
